Wasn’t this one of the plans floated back in early 2021 as a way to get Trump the presidency? Or maybe I’m confusing it with a plan to re-instate Trump if he were impeached?
The Speaker is 3rd in line for the presidency. Granted, it would still be incredibly difficult to get from there to the presidency, but I’m not accusing the MAGA crowd of having good ideas.
