I do want to get back into track racing games but the options are either full sim or full arcade. Idk when the last real forza came out and I rather play on PC. I love letting my eyes lose focus and follow the track.
I bought BeamNG almost a decade ago I think. Its a lot of fun but i find it a bit aimless. I more or less want to learn a course and car and fine tune my reaction and anticipation of the course.
I should give it another try, i’m sure there’s been a lot of updates.
Yeah, it being a sandbox makes it a bit a make your own fun kind of game, but you can also do official and modded missions and there are multiplayer mods.

There’s your problem. It exists to generate money, and that’s mostly it.
I really enjoy BeamNG, it’s a sandbox where you can just drive around. Or crash into stuff.
Not really a racing game tho.
Edit: ETS2 also scratches that driving while zoning out itch.
