It’s incredible how much worse that state has gotten lately. 6 years ago I could go up there to see family and be pretty openly gay/left without problem, even some people responding positively. Now it feels like more racist white texas.
Idaho’s been top of the list in hate group membership for a while… it used to be more of a northern/rural thing, but I’ve been seeing more of it in urban centers. A month back, I was peeling off stickers that proclaimed the need to “Secure a future for White children”
Northern Idaho he place that white supremacists boomers agreed to move, build their compounds and wait out the coming race war. The next generation must be leaking out.
