I live in a developing country. Migrating isn’t really an option. I’m educated but I don’t have contacts anywhere. I see American “expats” who live comfortably abroad by working remotely. What jobs are there? Is it just programming and art design? How realistic is it to start a career in programming? I have an engineering background, just not in software. I actually enjoyed the little programming I’ve done with stepper motors and actuators. Wonder if none like that exist online as opposed to web design (not that I would refuse web design of that is the only thing out there)

    If you mean they are breaking US law, than I think otherwise. After all, as long as you have a US citizenship you have to pay tax regardless of where you live (abroad or otherwise). If you mean the laws of Shrimpy’s home country, than I have significantly less knowledge regarding that.
