Bad news for those planning to activate Windows 11 with a Windows 7 or 8/8.1 key: users noticed that the latest Windows 11 preview builds no longer allow activation with old license keys.
Unfortunately if you want to play games with 0 hassle, Windows is still the only real option. Proton is awesome, but there are still games I want to play that either don’t work (or don’t work well), or require workarounds to get working
There are so many free flavors of Windows. But you would be 100% better off on Linux.
