General Ben Hodges: If you think about it, Russia-- has been for decades, and still is, an existential threat for Europe and the United States. I mean, just listen to what their leaders say. Look at the thousand nuclear weapons. They clearly will keep going if they’re not stopped.

    bruh

you can see it working at the bustling farmers market on John McCain Street in central Kyiv

    bruh

Tatiana Abramova: Especially in the condition of war, we have to work. We have to pay taxes, we have to pay wage-- salary to our employees. We have to work, don’t stop.

Holly Williams: Why does that help Ukraine win the war?

Tatiana Abramova: Because economy is the foundation of everything.

    bruh

This belongs in the dunk tank.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more blatant piece of propaganda slobbing off American boots in my life. Really deep throating it all the way up to the heel here. Complete with such bangers as, “The Russians are afraid of our big bad American machinery!” and, “This is about all of Europe, not just Ukraine,” and “look at this cute picture of a dog trained to search wrecks!”

Jesus Christ. It’s the Hallmark channel for liberals.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, though, they start fawning over John McCain next.

"In total, America’s pumped nearly $25 billion of non-military aid into Ukraine’s economy since the invasion began – and you can see it working at the bustling farmers market on John McCain Street in central Kyiv. The late senator is revered in Ukraine because he pushed the U.S. government to start sending arms to the country after Russia first invaded – back in 2014.

Yeah, that really endears me to the cause. Mr. “bomb bomb bomb Iran” himself orchestrated this shitfest.

“While in Kyiv, we learned that three of McCain’s former colleagues were also in town: Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Richard Blumenthal and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham. They don’t normally agree on much – together, though, they’re some of the staunchest supporters of U.S. funding for Ukraine’s resistance.”

Go figure. the-democrat and the-republican agree on imperialism overseas! Gotta love that warren-snake-green is proving what a progressive she is by further embroiling America in yet another forever war. Gotta make sure Raytheon keeps donating to her campaigns I guess. We get some choice quotes about what a great deal this is for America, how much we’ve accomplished without losing a single American life. These ghouls are nakedly proud of the carnage they’ve created, just so long as it’s happening to those people over there.

The piece wraps up assuring us corruption is a thing of the past in Ukraine. They’re all hands on deck, now. Nooooo way is any equipment going to be misappropriated or are any beaks going to get wet in all of this. doubt

So anyway, I hate my countrymen and the slop they swallow on a daily basis. How is everyone else’s day going?

The contrast between what Lindsey Graham says and what the last Ukrainian soldier is saying is pretty jarring.

    Sen. Lindsey Graham:

People ask me, “Is it worth it?” Here’s what we’ve gotten for our investment. We haven’t lost one soldier. We reduced the combat power of the Russian army by 50%, and not one of us has died in that endeavor. This is a great deal for America.

    Oleksandr Shyrshyn:

Ukrainians pay with their lives. And I believe and I hope that their lives cost much more than money, much more than taxpayers’ money.

Its so cute to see Americans pretend that what the news media is doing constitutes “oversight”. None of this shit will change federal policy, whether its revealed that we’re just funding a bunch of scam contractors or entirely sincerely building a new perfect new Eden in the middle of an active war zone.

Its all just chompsky you know, the thing.

American officials are now investigating four criminal cases involving non-military aid… and 170 Ukrainian government officials – including high-ranking military officers – have been charged in corruption cases so far this year, for crimes like embezzlement and accepting bribes.

    hmmm
