- A federal judge denied former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows’ request for an emergency stay of a ruling that sent his Georgia election interference case back to state court.
- Meadows, former President Donald Trump’s final chief of staff, had asked U.S. District Judge Steve Jones to pause his ruling pending an appeal.
- Meadows has also asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit for an emergency stay, arguing that Jones “egregiously erred.”
Fuck this POS. Throw him in jail.
So tired of living with a “justice” system that screams loud and clear it only gives a fuck about one thing: do you have money?
Because regular ass people can’t afford all these endless delaying shenanigans. They’re fucked right out of the gate because they can’t afford a lawyer and probably are getting a court-appointed one.
These chucklefucks deserve a court-appointed lawyer who has to split their time with other clients so they only actually get to see their lawyer for a half hour every several weeks, just like everybody the fuck else.
Over 61% of the country lives paycheck to paycheck. It is literally everybody the fuck else who the justice system fucks into a corner.
But as long as you’ve got money? You can drag it all out and run free as long as you fucking want, apparently.
America’s got a legal system, not a justice system. No wonder it’s on a fucking pathway to fascism.
That’s why we should all demand trials and never plea. Over any offense, no matter how small.
The system can’t afford it, for one, but the backlog it would create would effectively shut the whole thing down.

It is disheartening. I hate to stay in my own little bubble and ignore the insanity that plagues many aspects of our country, but, I’d end up drinking 10X as much if I watched/read as much news as I did pre-Trump.
These guys all seem to want federal cases for some reason. They fear the state.
Plus, “egregiously erred” applies more to what Meadows did (and that’s putting it nicely), not the judge. I hate these backwardass people.
This is exactly why Trump did his best to stack the federal courts with judges that (he thought) would favor him: he knew what he was doing at the time was illegal, and he’d have to lean on them for when his time came due.
Thanks for your reply. Agreed!
I added to my comment, so I wanted to make mention. It doesn’t change what I said or how you replied. Take care
A federal conviction can be pardoned by the President. A conviction in the state courts cannot.
It would remain state charges. No pardons for them. Any of them.
They want a broader jury pool to increase the chance of a favorable jury. All there asking is for the fed court to manage the case. It would still be tried in accordance with state rules
Give it up, Mark. It’s a RICO case – you’ll have to take your medicine right along side the other miscreants.
Hopefully delivered via fire hose suppository
Die in a fucking cell, traitor.
Aww, that’s cute. You actually think they’re going to get more jail time than a small time local weed dealer.
Taking more Ls than I thought humanly possible.
Maybe they just got tired of winning.
