Theme:

I think we should change the tone of the community from a lifestyle approach to lifting specifically to a more deliberate and discursive approach as to what kind of mental and physical fitness habits are best for a communist who wants to increase their mental health, mental acuity, and overall discipline. I also want to include an element which encourages reaching out for help (monetary in particular via twitter to avoid doxxing on here), especially as the economic situation deteriorates.

A dialectical approach to health if you will.

Procedure - just comment the name you want to submit and whichever one gets the most votes wins. (try to only vote for one or two y’all are too nice 😭😭)

There is also the !healthyleftist@lemmygrad.ml community as well as a !mentalhealth@lemmygrad.ml community so I think the swoletariat should take a different direction from these two.

To me fitness means whatever makes you healthy and active. We are highly focused on lifting (powerlifting or hypertrophy) at the moment but we can definitely branch out with this community and rake wide, as they say (if they don’t, they should)

Yeah, I think I’ve taken that into account pretty well with how I wrote the sidebar. It is exercise and physical fitness first but it rakes wide to include how that interacts with mental health and a healthier lifestyle/discipline.
