There used to be a fast food shop called Mekka Hut in Reading, near Cemetery Junction. They make the best biryani I have ever taste but got closed down when I was a teenager. Even now as an adult, I would compare every Biryani I’ve had to the Mekka Hut Biryani.
At this point I don’t know if it’s nostalgia, if I tried it again would it still be the best. Or was it because the happiness of hanging out with my mum and brother while eating. Everyone was so busy.
Thank you for reading my Reading post
Cries in Reading Railroad
how is this pronounced
Red-Ing
not READ-ing?
Nope, red-ing, I live in PA.
I’m sorry
spoiler
I also live in PA
At least we don’t live in Breezewood. Although my town looks an awful lot like it
Do you say farrest instead of forest?
That sounds like a NJ/NY thing, sadly not here.
I ask that becuase Mr Regular from Regular Car Reviews always pronounces it like that. He’s a lifelong Pennsylvanian.
hm, never heard of him. I can see different pronunciations on it tho, sometimes we get conflicting accents around here.
Pennsylvania seemed at least lovely to drive through. I know very little of it though aside from the kickass mountains.
