Hello lemmy metal community. I’d like to start the extension of my fediverse persona to this site (you may know me from metalhead.club) by my top 2020 album list. It’s very heavy on the black metal side of things.

1. Korgonthurus - Kuolleestasyntynyt Despite me being a fanboi of the band (and especially the vocalist) I can’t really think of any release that I’ve encountered this year as well rounded as this one.

2. Kryptamok - Verisaarna Great vocals, steller composition, just very good finnblackmetal overall

3. Oranssi Pazuzu - Mestarin Kynsi Best band in the genre of psychedelic black metal has managed to produce another masterpiece

4. Witchfucker - Afterhour in Walhalla (#nameyourprice) Personal bias for this one, since my sister is on vocals here. Aside from that I still think highly of this blackened stoner doom / post rock / whatever experimental album. One of the reasons is that it managed to make me enjoy saxophone for the first time.

5. Sørgelig - Sørgelig (#nameyourprice) Had me hooked right from the beginning. Such an intense buildup for this greek dsbm.
