The saddest part of this was that I’m so used to the creationists’ approach to covid that before finishing the headline, I genuinely assumed it was a woman trying to rid themselves of every ounce of their own DNA in a bid to outfox the government.

That’s where we are right now. Were I correct, I would not have been fazed. I always loathed that movie with everything in me, but I think it’s because I saw it as meaning to entertain rather than to warn.

If you haven’t you should watch ‘Don’t Look Up’, you will loath it for the exact opposite reason. It does such a good job of warning that it loses most of it’s entertainment value and leaves you feeling nihilistic.

I know, I’ve really been meaning to and then I forget, and then I remember, and then I forget again. I’ve never heard it mentioned except in glowing terms. Not really the nihilism, though.

Knowing just barely enough about it in the first place to even have a vested interest, I think maybe I’m too prone to being sad tonight and I’m just gonna shelve it atm and go back to my personal bg3 hell. One should at least have stuffed shells or something, if they’re going to feel more apathetic about humanity than I already do.

I can’t speak for most people but I feel anyone substantially socially and environmentally aware the movie goes from comedy to drama, I legitimately couldn’t help but become emotionally invested in the plight of the main characters and the humour never hit.

Enjoy your BG3, I’m right near the end of my first playthrough myself.

Anyone else remember the bank robber covered with lemon juice who believed they were invisible to cameras?

I mean, to be fair… With the way Mt Dew eats up my stomach lining, I can sort of understand someone thinking it might get rid of DNA on the skin… Kinda…

Man. Florida. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who knows what kind of crazy will happen next.

Also tbf, it doesn’t actually take much to break down DNA.

And it would have worked too… If her DNA wouldn’t have been on the victim’s body too.

Just to be clear, If I recall correctly, she washed her victim’s DNA from herself with it.

Come to think of it, there’s hardly any instances of Florida Man/Woman in CSI: Miami, Dexter or other crime shows set in Florida! Not even Deputy Dawg had any!
