    Regardless what they say, they only way DPRK will denuclearize is if the US military leaves South Korea. So we can only hope that the talks will be successful.

        It might be okay if it leads to peace on the Korean peninsula. Dont forget that China and DPRK have a defense treaty, and China already helped them once to defeat the USA. So China could certainly ensure that the USA holds their end of the bargain.

          Doesn’t the DPRK stress independence? I doubt they’ll start relying on PRC for nukes just on the basis of that.

            I think it could be possible under certain circumstances, but I don’t even speak Korean or anything so take it with a big grain of salt 😂
