I just about died when I saw that the power rangers official youtube channel was uploading every season. Finally gave me an opportunity to watch the seasons I didn’t (i.e. everything after Wild Force, plus Zeo) that looked interesting. And I went with RPM for my first.

And yeah, it’s pretty good. Mix of Terminator post judgement day and Mad Max vibes, fun characters with weighty motivations and personal histories. A ranger owing the mafia $5mil was great. I genuinely think this is the most relatable cast of characters I’ve seen in a rangers series. The only two complaints I have is that the zords designs were either too simplistic or overly complicated with nothing in between, and I don’t know if any of the people on the show have ever seen a pocket watch but I have and I’m pretty sure they don’t make music.
