Reminds me of the story with the roaming bears in a city that did some weird libertarian policy/program. There is a book about it called a “Libertarian walks into a Bear” Not sure if the books is any good but the real story is funny (or a bit unsettling) if you know about it.
The “Galt’s Gulches” I mentioned were all attempts to start brand-new colonial fever dreams in a vacant area, and pretty much none of them got past the financing phase before the most Enlightened Self-Interested One ran off with the money.
