I love the hard drugs subreddits. The most interesting is r/DPH, the wildest is probably r/meth. Sort by top and scroll down. Just don’t check the profiles of those making heartfelt promises to give up the drug forever and getting into rehab for follow ups.

One time I got downvoted to oblivion and then followed and harassed for saying that employers shouldn’t be allowed to drug test for thc… In r/lsd of all places. I still don’t know what that was about. Did I accidently trigger the “everyone dogpile this guy” bot algorithm, maybe in a different comment? Do lsd users just think they’re better than everyone else just because past use of lsd can’t really be drug tested for? This happened like a year ago and I’m still dumbfounded.

It’s weird how before the whole micro dosing and acceptance of lsd and mushrooms people who were into that were usually chill as fuck.

Now, seems like those into it now are kinda dicks and gatekeeping the shit out of things.

          We ARE better.

          /S

Hippie culture being murdered by Reagan and the neoliberal moral panic had a pretty terrible effect on drug culture in general imo.

Doing my best to bring here some of the gold there, without giving them money.

Really they’re absolutely insane, it’s hard to know if it’s satire or just their miserable lifes

Dph isn’t satire, it’s legit. I know no one who’s done it or moreover abused it and speaks highly of it, it’s always “it was fuckin crazy!” “Should I try?” “uhh no don’t be stupid!”

I had some severe sleep issues and ended up abusing DPH, not for any recreational effects I just needed to sleep. 9 days without sleep is bad. Torture.

I took 30 of those pink devils, just to sleep. I was that desparate.

Still didn’t sleep, but I went out back for a smoke and there was a spider towering over the houses in the neighborhood. Didn’t think anything of it while on the meds, just went out front to smoke lol. Also I had some common visitors in the corners of my bed room, cloaked in shadows whispery chanting in a language I couldn’t understand, while the darkness and certain patterns began to warp around me. But at the time it wasn’t concerning. DPH is a deleriant, line jimson weed and some other plants - they differ from hallucinogens in some interesting ways. Erowid has always been a good source on various substances for those inclined to research.

For those who may be concerned, I no longer take DPH much at all, last time was due to a new minor allergic reaction to something I haven’t been able to identify. Something was in that hookah tobacco my body didn’t like. Also, I’m sleeping better these days - in part due to having the right medical access, as well as rigorous sleep hygiene.

Which Xbox, though? For a classic Xbox, that’s overpriced. For an Xbox 360, that’s about right. Get any higher than that and it gets a little sketchy. (Still a crappy thing to do to your kid regardless.)

Nah you’re a little out of date there. The classic Xbox is in the process of transitioning to being a retro console, so you’re looking at £30-£60 depending on condition (about $40-$80), and probably in a few years, more than that. Also the Xbox disk drives are notoriously shitty and many have died, so actual working models are either rare or refurbished at this point—that’s only going to balloon the price over time

The 360 was the winner in that generation and it’s now where the PS2 was about 5ish years ago, far too much supply, very little demand. I can take my pick of several different models of 360 all for about £20 (about $25) today apparently

I hope you enjoyed this unsolicited info dump about purchasing early xbox consoles in 2023.

You might be right. Original Xboxes still seem fairly cheap on ShopGoodwill, but I haven’t been pricing them elsewhere, given the fact that I already own one. (It’d be nice to get one of the earlier models that are easier to hard mod, though. I’ve got a 1.6 which is mod-resistant, but at least doesn’t have a leaky clock capacitor.)

Sometimes you got to stage a break in to cover up the fact that you robbed your own family for crack money
