I usually connect rape with nonconsensual often violent sexual assault. But I guess could also be rape. Personally I would just call in sexual assault though, since I associate the word rape differently.

You should be a reporter, they have a hard time calling it rape, too.
I would call it rape when the person is charged guilty.
So it’s just sexual assault until they are found guilty in court and then it’s rape?
