I’m really looking forward to what they bring in the 3d space. As someone who loves 3d content and makes it myself this makes me very exited. The headset of course is prohibitively expensive. I own almost every vr headset from the cardboard and up, but I’ll never get the vision pro. I really hope enough people do though so that the tech can progress and become affordable for normal people.

It’s also been limited to the US only so that’s going to reduce the number of sales.

I get why they are doing it, because of the custom fitting, but it’s not like Europe doesn’t have Apple stores.

I don’t think the reason has anything to do with custom fitting. Apple has stores all over, just like in the U.S. I reckon the main issue is Sony being unable to produce more than 400,000 headsets worth of displays in year one which naturally makes an international release difficult

I have a set of xreal glasses and 3d youtube videos, the only real source of easily available 3d content I have, and 3d works amazing on them. Having each eye have its own display will make 3d content look so much better. Much less the advanced screens and the apple polish they put into everything. While I’m never gonna buy into the apple ecosystem I do hope they can user in this type of 3d content because it can be great.
