As the title implies , I am a huge 80s postpunk/goth/coldwave fan, but I’m kind of tired of listening to the same artists over and over again. A good example of what I’m after would be Dimitri De Alencar’s “The Quicksand”.
Feel free to recommend any artists, regardless of the genre they are mostly associated with, as long as the song itself is in the genres I described
A few ones that are good examples (but these would be old songs, while I am looking for recent ones):
Cities In Dust (Siouxie and the banshees)
A Forest(The Cure)
Devil’s Dancers (Oppenheimer Analysis)
Way Out Of Living (Linear Movement)
The Cabinet (Das Kabinette)
Marian (Sisters Of Mercy)
Rise (PIL)
Blade Runner Theme (Vangelis)
Whaddya think of this beast?
I love Of Montreal! Disconnect The Dots!
Nice. What about A Place to Bury Strangers?
The Soft Moon
Drab Majesty
Ritual Howls
Fearing
This cold night and most darkwave
Arctic Flowers - Glass on Ice (or anything by them, it’s all great and potentially up your alley). Not sure if they’re still around, but their last album is only a couple years old. most of their output is from the 2010s. Huge post-punk influence, but very much their own thing.
Gonna check it out!

Have you tried She Wants Revenge?
Yes, sound like Sisters Of Mercy mixed with The Strokes, I like it!
