An Eagle Among Lions is a neat little (and by little I mean long) Fire Emblem: Three Houses Edelgard-centric time travel fic (kinda) that has all-but-explicitly leftist undertones poking out from under it every now and then. It’s to the point where I consider it leftist dogwhistling, which had me going

The Summoned Hero Is A Historical Materialist is an explicitly communist Shield Hero AU that flips Naofumi’s character to be an hardline anti-slavery socialist rather than an isekai-typical pedophile slaver protag. It is the fanfic equivalent of the concept of a John Brown Isekai. It’s great, well-executed, and I think it deserves more recognition

knowledge comes but wisdom lingers by Ywena is a very good BNHA SI that tries to deal with social issues and systemic change (it’s not the main focus, but it’s an important part of the story).
Aioka; A Career Genin in a Naruto OC who reforms the “Genin Corps” from a dead-end place for whoever was left behind by Konoha into a competent force under the nose of the Hokage. It’s not leftist (for instance, it doesn’t try to dismantle Konoha’s nationalist military dictatorship), but it is about empowering people society has left behind.
Democracy by Starfox5 is liberal, but I think leftists may enjoy it too. It’s about overthrowing the aristocracy in a typical HP AU where the pureblood houses control the hereditary Wizengamot.
