Okay so I was wondering why Stalin got the most flack of the Cold War propaganda, at least in my experience growing up in the U.S., He’s the only Soviet Leader we were “taught” about. Sorry if this is dumb.
Because he was (and still is) extremely dangerous to the US propaganda machine, seeing as they can’t erase him from history they try to discredit him and “neutralize” his possible influence
Because he achieved the most, and pretty much liquidated all the parasitic classes from soviet society.
While a lot of his success probably contribute to it, my guess is that he is in power at the time of both the last famine and the power struggle, both of which are easy to spin as him somehow being the bad guy.
