repeating the exploding-heads (we have to patiently discuss blocking the
instance) course of action instead of a preemptive defederation, it is their

It’s incredible someone can try to boil down nazism to “they censored people” and defederation down to “us censoring people”. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume ignorance over malice, but fuck me that’s a lot of ignorance if your goal isn’t just letting nazis in. And how is it not completely transparent how awful of an “argument” that is? How do people agree with that?
They only get the benefit of the doubt if they aren’t the same people that cheered on Lemmy.world defederating Hexbear
