Tell me why I should give a shit when my grocery costs have more than doubled since 2020 and have yet to come down. Inflation rate is meaningless for those of us not in the top 1%. Lately I’ve been telling people who ask for sources that they need to convince me they are asking in good faith. Real sincere responses will get a source, the real utility is it ends the conversation more quickly when it’s a disingenuous request. Best to save energy for the teachable.
