        The rings are made of small rocks and dust so they don’t reflect a lot of light back towards us, but rather scatter it. So since not much light reaches Uranus to begin with the rings are super hard to spot. Which is why astronomers only discovered that Uranus has rings fairly recently. Iirc they only noticed the rings when they looked at Uranus with a special telescope, infrared maybe.
