In my experience it seems that if the dog’s owner is male they think I’m a homosexual and if the dog’s owner is female they think I’m a creep. Now I just split the difference, talk to the dog, ignore the human and get thought of as a rude person. I’m okay with that trade-off.

The worst is when they lock the dog up because they assume that I don’t want to be bothered by their dog.

I want to be bothered by their dog. I insist on being bothered by their dog.
