Summary

FBI agents involved in January 6 investigations are suing the Justice Department, citing retaliation under Trump’s leadership.

Two lawsuits, including a class action, claim Trump’s DOJ is compiling lists of agents for potential punitive action. Agents cite First Amendment and Privacy Act violations, fearing demotions, job denials, or exposure to Trump’s supporters.

The FBI Agents Association has also filed suit.

Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, has allegedly compiled an “enemies list,” raising concerns about political purges and protection of Trump loyalists.

How is the justice department funded? That’s right, our taxes.

Our taxes are going to be used to fight these lawsuits in court and when the department loses, our taxes will be used to pay for the damages to the FBI agents.

There are no real consequences from this to the Justice Department or the buffoon and his lackeys. The only loser is us.

By the time anything gets through SCOTUS - because you know that’s where all these cases will end up - the damage will already have been done, and there is no undoing it.

Thats why we shouldn’t let the damage be done. Its time to quench the Tree of Liberty.

I think about it like this:

There’s been a flash flood. A lot of people saw it coming, but the people who had the power to deploy heavy equipment and build good solid protections from the flood waters … didn’t.

All we “normies” have right now are shovels and an insufficient amount of sandbags, but the water is already here, and still rising, with no end in sight. Even where we can build up enough sandbags to slow the amount of water coming in, we don’t even have any pumping equipment to drain what floodwater is already here.

That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t shovel. It does mean that we should still expect the flood to continue rising for a long time, and the eventual cleanup efforts to be long and messy. The Tree of Liberty will get its quenching, but probably not soon.

It is at least a comfort during these horrific times to know that the fbi-cops are going to learn that they have just as few rights as “civilians” when it opposes the will of the State.

Am I not getting it? Is this instance / community botted?

Why is there “The FBI is suing the DOJ” but then inside it’s “there’s these two agents, a class action, and an organization that represents agents who are suing.”

Aren’t those two things very different? Why would you want to tell people that and then clarify with something much less noteworthy? Am I just fucking weird and people know what others mean when they exaggerate/theorize/aesthetically dress up real life?

Edit: like is the FBIAA effectively the FBI? What is it about that information that makes it so the FBI is suing?
