    one time i made a post asking for basic advice, saw i got 6 comments, opened it, and the top comment was just someone making a corny one liner, with all the other comments piggybacking off said one liner trying to be even cornier

        one time i got a “The search bar exists for a reason… I’m sure this question’s been asked here before.” MF I JUST SCOURED THE INTERNET FOR 15 MINUTES, THE CLOSEST THING I FOUND ON UR SUBREDDIT WAS ASKED 9 YEARS AGO AND DIDN’T HAVE ANY HELPFUL REPLIES EITHER

          Also unless there’s been a major update, the reddit search bar is notoriously shit. It’s better just to use google and append “reddit”, even with how shit google’s gotten in recent years.

            yea i only use reddit’s search as a backup when i don’t find the right thing on google. (far as ik google’s better at sorting relevant results but reddit has some posts google won’t)
