Summary
Trump’s new tariffs on Canadian and Mexican oil are expected to raise U.S. gas prices.
Canadian oil imports face a 10% tariff, while Mexican oil is hit with 25%, increasing refining costs.
Analysts warn the tariffs will push fuel prices higher, with Midwest refineries particularly vulnerable due to reliance on Canadian crude.
East Coast drivers may also see cost hikes due to limited refining capacity.
Fuel traders expect the added costs to be passed on to consumers, contradicting Trump’s false promise to curb inflation.
Not just gas. Everything.
And not just “gas and everything” but also double that because all those things that will get tariffs will also be hit with increased transport costs because of increased oil costs.
Inflation’s back, baby!
Americans are gonna implode when their gas is still dirt cheap, compared to the rest of the world.
How would your budget look if one of your daily staples increased 25% overnight? It’s the same as New Yorkers or Californians mofking Midwesterns when their rent increase drastically to something that’s considered “low end” in their market.
I’m hanging on to see how this turns out. Some political analysis says Trump is mainly a vessel to collect the glory of being president doing his thing, while the ghouls behind the curtains whispering into his easily manipulated narcissistic head are steering.
Sales of Trump “I did this” stickers about to skyrocket
Get them while they’re hot: https://cnliberalism.org/store/p/my-tariffs-did-that-sticker
Ironically they just had to bump the price from $1 to $1.25 due to the tariffs.
Theres got to be a cheaper way.
“We all remembered the sticker wars, back then. Thanks Obama.”
