Again, what does that have to do with capitalism? Plenty of places that take care of their elderly are capitalist societies…this is more a failure of the country than capitalism.
What capitalist country doesn’t have poverty punishment laws? What capitalist country doesn’t have growing income inequality?
Isn’t the fundamental point of capitalism that the market will provide?
It’s clearly not providing options for everyone. So intervention is required, therefore a failure.
