If I’m honest, RedNote is fine. I guess I’ve already recognized how deeply fucked the US is in comparison to other countries with international travel I was blessed enough to be able to do. I’ve been saying it’s a mentally ill society. My first talking point is always how much cheaper and healthier food is abroad. There was a guy who was talking about corn being 1/5 the price in China and instead of having my mind blown it’s more like “yeah, that makes sense.” On top of that, I already thought China is… le good! So while I really like that other people are waking up to the disparity, I don’t actually like using the app that much personally.
