Out of the three? Ford. They make the best work truck at least.
Their interiors are well thought out. Lots of storage space. They handle well. Performance is solid. I’ve driven both their diesel and gas trucks. I prefer the diesel, since it had a good turbo in it and pulled heavy shit like a dream. Mirrors are big too.
Don’t like dodge interiors, but their engines are better performing. Handling is shit in that they 2009/2010 models had the death wobble, which didn’t get fixed until 2015ish. Won’t drive them because of that oversight.
5.4s are shit. Do they still use them? We had them on our 2011ish trucks. They were ok for what we needed, but I wouldn’t want one for a personal vehicle.
I don’t know, but I’ve got one sort of hung around my neck. Both the 2 valve and 3 valve motors seem to be garbage. From my 10 seconds of internet research, it looks like most of the motors are now the turbo 6s as they have more HP and TQ but there are continued issues with them. Really makes me wish I had something GM with a fairly bulletproof LS based motor :(
