They knew. But if they didn’t withhold their votes then democrats know that they don’t have to respect them as a bloc
And in the end, self-respect is more important than doing what Gazans want.
Shadenfreude isn’t what I would say I feel towards them. Its not the same as when white people vote for trump because of the “economy”
