I do think they will ban other platforms as well, but that’s just going to radicalize people further. Especially now that they got a taste of interacting with people in China.

I’m tempted to download Xiaohongshu to try and learn Mandarin, but I’m also scared Google will know I downloaded it and put me on a list lmao.

Word on the street is the US is backpedaling on the ban because of the swift uptake of Mao’s Little Red Book. I couldn’t imagine why…
I can’t imagine them doing anything other than broaden the scope of the ban. even now it already includes all apps influenced by enemies or whatever
that’s what they’re threatening via the tv media
Investing how our “useless government” can mobilize and take down something that threatens the empire’s future profits but can’t do anything for the people living in that empire
