    The “funny” thing?

    There are actually very good arguments for the US and Canada to merge from a socioeconomic perspective. I would rather something closer to how the EU is set up but… I also think the US should be split up in that regard as well and acknowledge there isn’t a HUGE difference in that case.

    But that was a discussion for more like a decade ago when it looked like the US might not be a flaming wreck in a few months. Or… for a few more elections when Canada catches up with us…

    But yeah. Gotta “love” trump’s obsession with getting a 51st state (but not Puerto Rico or American Samoa or…) and all the chaos and strife it is already causing.

      I assume you’re not Canadian then?

      Because one of the greatest national assets of Canada is not being part of the United States. And 82% of Canadians feel that way.

      Well if Trump successful (which I.hope this all just bullshit smoke screen) then I won’t need a passport to travel to Alaska through Canada.

      I plan on driving through Canada to Alaska this summer.
