Hm… You know I may just be thinking of a scene from World War Z where they bring back decimation tactics in the Russia army, and as a kid I assumed they did this during the USSR, not bringing back something from like Rome lol.
I read that book recently and I think it’s the worst book I’ve ever read holy guacamole I hated it
