Not entirely but I’m pretty sure way fewer lifts were turning with way longer lines. Plus as Krolden said… It works until your laying there with a concussion and a broken leg wishing some sort of well paid experienced professional would come help you out
I just checked their lift and conditions report. It appears they’re operating normally but I’m not super familiar with their lifts. I do know the west is hurting for snow which is likely a greater impact on their operations right now than a labor dispute.
It looks more than likely that they’re just using patrollers from other vail resorts.
We need industry wide unionization so this doesn’t happen. Good luck convincing a bunch of boomers who made this their retirement plan to have class solidarity! I was a former coach and it was a hopeless endeavor.
