I was watching a show in Spanish (with subtitles), and had subtitles to the effect of “[In English] I told you to speak English with me!”, even though everything is obviously in Spanish. I hate that.
This happens in the Spanish dub of Breaking Bad — the bit where he’s trying to communicate with the workers at the laundrette in broken Spanish. It makes no sense whatsoever
