Can you explain to me where you are seeing Marxists supporting the Russian Federation’s economic structures, repression of queer people, nationalistic tendencies, etc? The only “support” for the Russian Federation I’ve seen from Marxists is exclusively with respect to their anti-US Hegemony stance, and extends no further.

I have seen no support for their repression of the LGBTQIA+ community, horrific Capitalism, intense nationalism, etc. If you have seen anyone claiming to be a leftist and supporting those aspects of Russia then I want to see it, because that’s horrendously stupid and I want to call them out on it.

Why would anyone claiming to be a Marxist support the economic system of the Russian Federation? The rampant misogyny and horrible treatment of queer people? The intense nationalism?
