It wasn’t only left wing parties banned a couple weeks ago, it was ALL opposition parties remotely tied to being committed in respecting the minsk accords, along with russian-minority parties. It very much includes right wing parties.

It’s “interesting” that anarchists faced nowhere near that level of repression. What is also interesting is that “OG” Ukrainian anarchists were purged during the Maidan coup and directly after. Many at first fell for the Maidan movement and thought it was to be worked with, to tragic situations: they were directly attacked and murdered in the occupation protest.

I’m willing to bet most anarchists from that period are dead, or left the country. The “anarchists” in Ukraine fighting for Zelensky and Azov are provably mostly football ultras and hooligans, who 1) were never really political and 2) grew up after the coup and were DEEPLY propagandized. I’m therefore also willing to bet they are left to exist because they pose even less of a threat actual anarchists represent for bourgeois states, and that they are deeply infiltrated by fascists / ukraine security elements, and that they serve as propaganda to fuck with the international left and divide it (as in: get dumb western anarchists/soc dems to say: “look, the ukrainian left is fighting against russia, neither Zelensky or Putin! Back the Anarchists! Biji Rojava!”, even when we know well these supposed “anarchists” serve fascism and the Ukrainian state, knowlingly so or not it doesn’t matter).
