Your attitude towards learning is fantastic and you are a great example for people who have disabilities. Have you ever considered becoming an advocate, a speaker, or some kind of teacher?

I don’t know what an “advocative” is and I struggle with speech and being a teacher way out my league. I wouldn’t be a great example for people with disabilities as my disability isn’t visible nor one people care about. People feel bad for you if you’re in a wheelchair or have down syndrome but your like me your just dumb.

That’s the thing. People with invisible disabilities need people to speak for them the most! An advocate is just someone who helps people get the help they need, and get noticed.

Do you work? How old are you?

I was a cook at a pizza place when I was 23. Ended up becoming general manager. It was a terrible, poorly paid salary job. It severely damaged my mental health and accelerated by my alcoholism.

Be careful and always be on the lookout for something that pays better. Back when I was doing it I got minimum wage of $5.15. After the promotion, which pay the minimum salary of $36k a year so I couldn’t make overtime. Weeks were 50-70 guys. I did the math on my hours at the the of one year and I was actually making about below the minimum wage which was $7.25 by then.

Your IQ is just a number on a severely flawed test. You have empathy and the capacity for learning. This makes you better than a lot of people with average IQ.
