It seems like IPFS would be a decent choice for video content

    Yes i have. It works decently well but does struggle with finding the content in a timely manner. So lots of buffering but adjusting stream settings can get reasonable results. Currently using MPEG-DASH with shaka-player and a custom loader function.

      Do you know if it is able to easily pull from neighbor devices? If you start watching on one device and then pull the same content on a different device does it load fast?

        If theyre on the same network it works great but i havent been able to test it much with different networks

      I had a random though for a YouTube alternative that would just be creators putting there content on a IPFS gateway.
