I am looking to replace my computer sometime in the next year and have a reservation placed on a Framework 16 as I am huge believer in right to repair.
However, I do need to regularly use Windows (mainly for the Adobe suite), so I was wondering what the Windows support for things like the expansion modules are. Are there any kind of driver issues people have been seeing? Can you hot swap modules? Just looking for experience from people that already have one to get a sense of what I am getting myself into.
They offer Windows 10 or 11 preinstalled, or you can install it on an expansion storage card.
The expansion cards are connected via usb-c, so there should be no problem with hot swapping.
The fact they are usb gives me hope that things will be smooth.
