God damn do I hate the gaming community. Just absolutely obsessed with picking everything apart and never actually having fun with the hobby they supposedly enjoy.
Everything is about complaining about wokeness or about which souless corporation is the best/worst or about over analysing whether Silent Poopoo 3 is the worst game ever because 59 frames per second and Resident Pee had 60.

Never, ever, go in the Steam Forums, that is the biggest sewer imaginable. There’s maybe one or two good discussion going on with 20 others being filled with the most toxic, bigoted comments you can imagine.
Even just normal game update news will be filled with this stuff. It’s insufferable.
Oh man, you just gave me flashbacks to when I played the early access alpha version of Ark: Survival Evolved and in one update people were SCREAMING in the comments for the Devs to ban Chinese players because [CW: Racism] “The Chinese people have no problem with cheating because they had to cheat to survive under evil communism” and other racist fun. Basically they were mad that Chinese people were better at the game and dominated the servers lmao
Oh I remember that. I never played Ark, but a couple of years ago there was a big racist anti-chinese sentiment on a lot of gaming spaces with the same cheating excuse.
