Is there an easy way to download and import style sheets? If so, any recommendations on where to find them? Thanks in advance!

Edit: To be clear, by style sheets I mean configurations of font sizes, line margins of headlines subheadlines, body text etc.

The closest I could find to what you’re asking for is the LibreOffice Extensions Repository. I did find some things relating to line margins and fonts, but they may not be exactly what you’re asking for.

Another site I found was LibreOffice Templates. This isn’t affiliated with LibreOffice or The Document Foundation, so exercise caution when downloading templates. Again, I’m not sure if this is exactly what you want, but I tried my best to help.

As long as I can remember, LibreOffice Writer has not handled fonts with more than 4 variants well. E.g. I have a font that has the standard Regular, Bold, Italic, Bold Italic, but it also has 4 of the same but “Extended” (so more space between characters). LibreOffice does not display the Extended variants in the WYSIWYG editor at all, only showing the regular widths.

I think I looked up at one point that this has been raised as an issue, but never fixed. Is that just because it’s not a priority for the devs, or maybe something else?

I guess it isn’t a priority for the devs. They probably have a lot on their plate already, and there’s a lot that they don’t implement, but they try. (DISCLAIMER: I am not a programmer and am not affiliated with LibreOffice.)
