The thing is, I never understand this “threat”, they would do this either way. Thats why we don’t support them…if they were allies to us we would ally to them, but they throw us under the bus in the worst ways then act surprised when we don’t crawl back out to hug them.

Muslim/Arab Americans were integral to Bidens winning in 2020, and they rewarded us with genocide of our people, why would we continue to provide our support?

It has some real “I used to support the left until they called me racist so I became a right-wing racist” energy. If all it took was someone being a meanie for you to completely alter your worldview, you weren’t leftwing in the first place.

Or it could be the alternative. “I was a lefty and when the right dunked on me they looked sooooooooo cool! So I joined them so I can be part of the internet popular kids!”

High school never ended lads, and unfortunately we’re the nerds.

There is legitimately an argument to be made that a Trump presidency is better for progressive causes.

When trumps president Pelosi dresses up in a Kente cloth and libs go to protests about rhe camps.

When a dems president Pelosi tells the same people they don’t understand how politics works and liberals accuse you of being a Russian if you say the concetration camps are bad.

But you must remember that all the lib theatrics didn’t result in an end of the cages, but just to the very same liberal leadership and justification of said cages.

So the progressive causes don’t benefit from liberals under Republicans as the liberals are powerless. Liberals just benefit from progressive causes while powerless, then when they gain power again, they abandon them.

Absolutely. And maybe dems being in power really is better in the long run because they spend literally all their time doing nothing and punching left. And people notice that overtime, no matter how many incredulous articles libs write about not understanding why they’re losing ground with all the groups they’ve gleefully thrown under the bus to get moderate fascists attention.

Idk maybe it’s just a personal preference after accepting that libs aren’t ever going to do anything meaningfully good that it’s at least better to have a lib agree with me that the concentration camps are bad then to have them reflexsively start attacking me if I say concentrati9n camps are still bad when a fems in charge of them.

Hey google, are there still brown kids in cages at the border?

You absolute fool, if you haven’t noticed, AOC hasn’t went and cried at any kids in cages under Biden, because they arent in “cages”. They’re actually in “detention centers” now, and really it’s their fault for swarming over our border anyway, we just can’t keep up!!

From the time I was a little kid, I always felt in some abstract way the presence, the cultural weight and mass, of a huge number of rotten ghouls, howling for blood somewhere out in the noosphere. Now they’ve torn down their thin veil of civility and are openly gnashing their teeth and turning their empty eye sockets to regard me with coy smugness.

Sounds like the quote from The Deserter in Disco Elysium. Something about having to drop the mask to do their terrible deeds, so you can see their true face for just that moment.

Average American: “Democrats are sooo horrible! They have the AUDACITY to NOT want people dead just for the color of their skin? What a bunch of losers!”

Average Democrat: “noooooo! We can’t make fun of the wholesome racists that got hit by the hurricane!

Also average democrat: “Oh what’s that? Brown people are sitting this one out because I’m coddling the GOP too much? That’s it! GOP, sic ‘em boy!”

So you’ll go from doing meaningfully nothing and passively supporting genocide to literally doing nothing g and actively supporting genocide.

Also, we know. We all know. That’s why we didn’t trust you to begin with. Because you didn’t do anything meaningful last time either.
