Heard the latter in an our changing climate video. I like the alliteration of it and I think it will prevent confusion from the public. I imagine a lot of people hear ecofascism and assume it is backed by environmentalists

Especially pertinent to your question is the discussion of green nationalism that uses language of environmentalism to promote the idea of maintaining a pristine natural environment within borders for the enjoyment of the volk (maintenance of forests, clean waterways) while being hostile to any idea of restriction of fossil fuel use since this is primarily of benefit to people outside the border at the cost to those within.
