For this playthrough I’m going for Shane for the first time, and loving it! That character development 😍 Although this run I’ve been trying to befriend villagers more and Sebastian is starting to look appealing too.
Who are your go-tos? Would you go for someone different in another playthrough?
My main playthrough it’s Leah, and I still think she’s a good choice. She feels a good, rounded, likeable character, and mature enough to marry.
Otherwise (and for Leah too) I have to focus just enough on the character’s good quality without thinking too hard. Too deep, and either I think “but but but…” or, “anyway I couldn’t marry them without knowing them better” or just see too plainly the mechanicalness of this pretend relationship!
But if I pick and choose what I focus, what I speculate and head-canonize, and what I gloss over as simplified-for-game, I can really like any of them.
