    Is it truly that bad?

I mean, every ML platform or space has, err, problems, so to speak, but I can look past some of it if they’re willing to improve…

It’s literally just 4chan for lefties. Expect the same shit that flies on 4chan: slurs, general disrespect, idiocy, rage bait, and more are the norm there. It’s very difficult to have, or find for that matter, quality discussions of any kind, and because of the “culture” being very abrasive, it gets tiring really quickly. It doesn’t help that I find the imageboard a very bad style of forum.

The only objectively good thing there are the news, and news related content you can find there. (Thank you based news anon)

The memes are also sometimes pretty good, but more often than not it’s just meh.

And also don’t really expect them to “improve” or “change” away from this “culture”, they like it the way it is.

Anyway, the best way to experience a website is to take a look for yourself, preferably with an open mind let’s say. So why not take a look, just to know how it is?

lol I once saw Lemmygraders insult Hexbear, but I actually enjoyed that place. Well, maybe you’re right. I mean, it’s in the name. Leftypol. Pol. Doesn’t seem like a good promise of quality, mind you.

I wonder what other communities outside of Reddit and Twitter / X exist for Marxist-Leninists and other leftists?

I know Instagram sort-of has a budding scene.

If there’s really CSAM on there, I don’t want to see it
