Does this mean they’re going to pull it from YouTube?
It’s been available to stream there for years because no one was making any copyright claims against it.
I mean there’s a copyright holder… So yeah… increased chances
Do you think he’ll show up to protest the re-release like he did with the original?
Down with this sort of thing!
I’m tempted to do that myself!
…right up until I tell someone to hold my sign for me because my movie is about to start, and then I go inside to watch it.
That would be epic and classic smith
Can’t wait for Dogma 2: Dante’s Inferno
There’s one thing everyone here can agree on - fuck Harvey Weinstein.
Whenever this guy’s name pops up, I remember Courtney Love, on the red carpet for something, was asked her advice to young actresses. She responded something like “don’t be alone in a room with Harvey Weinstein.” She had an extremely promising acting career, but dropped off the face of the earth after that remark.
Fuck Harvey Weinstein.
That was in a short reel during the comedy central roast of pamela anderson.
The same Courtney Love that killed Kurt Cobain?
Gonna go off on Yoko next?
Never be alone with Harvey Weinstein or Courtney Love.
100% chance he cried when he found out.
Man that’s awesome to hear
Yay! Now he can ruin another on of his beloved movies from before he was bad at making things!
Kevin has made a few disappointing films over the years, but I wouldn’t say he’s a bad filmmaker.
The 4:30 Movie is quite good, and probably the most mature comedy he’s ever made. It really felt like a return to form so I’d recommend giving that a chance if you enjoyed his early work.
Never saw it but I will check it out
Lol. That’s possibly the best way to get people to list out the great movies he’s made. I’ll go ahead say it, I love Jay and Silent Bob.
Tusk was a cinematic masterpiece you philistine!
Red State is also a fun diversion from his older work.
When I first watched it I didn’t know he was the director. I was impressed with his range as a director.
Fair, I stand corrected
Later movies don’t impact earlier ones. Clerks is still a masterpiece.
No, Clerks ceased to exist the moment Smith put out Yoga Hosers. That’s the way the world works. Everything later ruins earlier works and can delete them entirely if they’re bad enough.
Yes, art stands above and outside the artist, but to SOME extent new Clerks tarnishes it
