Her managing to blow the Roseanne reboot after like three episodes by talking with the ambien fairy about why she should be allowed to say the n word has to be one of the greatest bag fumbles in recent memory.
Especially since they got so much of the original cast back. John Goodman has stupid amount of money and can do whatever projects he wants. Roseanne thinking she could act the way she did shows how inflated her ego is. A lot of conservatives are high on their own supply of propaganda.
It’s always fucking wild when you realize one of the true believers actually thinks they’re intelligent and not just the modern day equivalent of a doomsday preacher yelling on street corners that everybody desperately tries to avoid.
I feel like that goes hand in hand. I mean there’s grifters or whatever but to the reflection to think “Maybe me shouting about the satanic cannibals means I’ve lost the plot” sort of precludes you from doing exactly that
I don’t think it was ego. This person actually believes democrats are possessed by the devil and drink the blood of newborns. She has some mental health issues and has been deeply affected by the most insane of conspiracy theories.

She was nominally left for a while. Her show Roseanne was probably the most popular show that centered around a working class family. Most sitcoms are about middle-upper class families. She also won the Peace and Freedom Party nomination in 2012. Now they’ve come back to their senses and PSL has won the last 3 election years.
