There is a great topic currently underway around the best UK coffee roasters.

There’s some great roasters almost everywhere however what let’s them down is that they mostly only offer delivery via RM. It’s not so much fun to have your coffee sat at a delivery depot for a week and a half when the best time to drink the coffee is often not Kong after they’ve been roasted.

Find a nicer roaster near you and buy local if you can. Cut out RM all together.

For me RM are the best by far and I’d pay more for it to be delivered by them.

        Fair enough.

For me they’re really hit and miss. Mostly miss for the past five years. Really poor tracking on their website (delivery windows of a whole work day, great!), really silly policies of alternative delivery location (we’ll try once and then we’ll try again and only after that will we leave it in a safe place oh and these two attempts will be two days apart. WTF just leave it in the safe place first time FFS).

This past year I’ve had all bar two of my coffee deliveries delayed. All on subscription services delivered by RM. Not just delayed a day, but on average five days. When you’re running low on coffee and you realise you aren’t going to get any more your eyes start twitching randomly hahah.

For sure there must be regional disparities but as a delivery company they’re ten years behind where they should be.

Oh and they still haven’t delivered any of my Christmas cards from last year despite posting them over a month before the deadline. 😐
